Need to know more about bookmarks?

Let's analyze the evolution of bookmark services dated 2008 through 2016. Do not really understand why people use some online services, for me it's ok to have the bookmark page in my Google Chrome browser. Let's find out why people use online services for it!
Diigo ? If you use modern browser and some online services like dropbox or google drive, evernote. Why shoukd you start using diigo? Don't understand.
Why should you waste your time in 2017 trying to find bookmark service that suits you??? I advise you to use standart extensions in your browser.
Anyway, let's try one of the services.
Wow, everything looks so ugly and not intuitive. Sadly, I think this service is not too easy to use. Terrible
