MOOCs

What is MOOC? It is a massive open online course that can give you a lot of new information for you and a chance to improve yourself! Some of the courses are completely free! So you can start a course and not only improve yourself, with the skills from MOOC you can get a higher job!

They give you the possibility to read books at a certain topic, watch videos and then you answer some questions
At Coursera you choose from 3 different categories
I've chosen Dog Emotion and Cognition by Duke University. At coursera, I like that you can see how much time it'll take for you to complete the course

Comparing to these 2 MOOCs, edX gives you courses in 14 languages! That's a great benefit, I think

P.S. for me all the 3 services that I mentioned are partially identical. It's a matter of what course you'd like to choose, not choosing the best service. Try all of them and find an interesting course!
P.P.S. as a student of course I haven't got enough time to complete any of the courses... But maybe sometime, who knows...

The field of Mobile Assisted Language Learning (henceforth, MALL) is an approach to language learning that is based upon the use of mobile devices (such as MP3/4 players, PDAs, smartphones like the iPhone or Samsung Galaxy, and tablets like the iPad and Google Nexus 7/10). MALL combines mobile learning with computer assisted language learning. It has gained popularity in the last few years due to our hectic mobile lifestyle and the widespread adoption of mobile telecommunications and computing devices with Internet connections. MALL offers a way to access learning materials and to interact with teachers and peers, transcending place and time boundaries in a way that has never been possible until now. As such, language learning has been made more approachable than ever. However, MALL involves much more than flexible resource access and an easy way to shorten distances between learners. Researchers are designing and implementing techniques that maximize the man...
